Just out of curiosity, how do you roleplay in GW? 95 percent of time spent out of town is combat, and combat mostly consists of calling targets, maybe the occasional call for a special skill or retreat, which is pretty much only useful by pinging/drawing. Typing is an easy way to die in the most basic combat situation.
Do you speak in British accents with headsets?
How exactly do you go about doing this? I don't want to join myself, just curious/confused.
People can sit around in a district, tell stories, and enjoy each others company while "in character" of who they want to represent. Even playing the game normally, while still "in character".

I guess one could RP during battle, I try not to "drink and drive" myself.

I do not used headsets (be weird yet amusing hearing a male RP a female). I think "Shakespeare-like" verbage is used by some, I have used it in the past, but there are different ways to communicate like getting into a character.
For example, if one is RP'ing an unintelligent thrall, then you might talk like, "Arrrgh, me wants that!"
Lol.
It is more getting into character with who you want to be. More than just talking a particular way it is (for me) keeping up with a character storyline and intertwining it with different character stories others create.
I guess to sum it up for me, its impromptu creative literature.

There are some RPing guilds (in character most if not all the time), or you can try to find sessions or times where players will get together and RP.
Well I used to do that, untill all of my fellow chaps left GW to pursue other goals RL and game-wise (WoW). I guess when I am around I can stick around for some RP. Madness Avenger is my IGN.
